Understanding the Audit Process and End of Year Adjustments

Monday 7 June 2010, 12.30pm to 4.30pm

• Audit Checklist, what needs to be collated, how and why?
• Backups and what needs to go to the auditor
• Restoring audited adjustments via journal entries
• Roll-over process
• Awareness of the calculations of Year end adjustments -- Long service leave provisions, staff entitlements, depreciation, etc
• Annual Statements -- Office Fair Trading requirements
